Cancellations and refunds
Last updated: October 22, 2026
Questions about a separately agreed service or payment. This website does not charge for using its enquiry form.
1. Using the site does not create a charge
This is a general information and enquiry site, not a clinical record, diagnostic service or appointment booking system. Preparing a draft or opening your email application does not debit money or create a paid reservation. There is no website payment to reverse solely because you used the form. If money was paid through another arrangement, identify that actual payment and recipient when raising a refund question.
2. Find the terms of the actual arrangement
A consultation, investigation and procedure can have different scheduling and payment arrangements. Ask the actual practice about rescheduling, cancellations, insurance authorisation and any charges before confirming the service. This website has not established a blanket policy for that independent practice or an automatic entitlement to a particular refund.
3. Explain the request and retain relevant records
State whether the question concerns cancelling a service, rescheduling, a duplicate payment, an incorrect amount or a service that was not provided as agreed. Include the date, ordinary transaction reference and the outcome you want. Keep the relevant quote, acknowledgement, correspondence and payment evidence so the matter can be considered against the actual arrangement.
4. Identify the recipient and amount
A refund discussion should identify the party that received the payment, the amount and currency and the item or service involved. A publishing company, named source organisation, bank and separate provider are not necessarily interchangeable recipients. Do not send money or disclose banking access credentials to someone who merely claims to be arranging a refund. Verify instructions through an established channel.
5. Processing and practical arrangements
If repayment is agreed or required, clarify the method, amount and any practical steps with the responsible recipient. A bank or payment provider may have its own processing role. This website does not promise instant repayment, set a processing deadline without a basis, or authorise an unexplained deduction. Preparing a draft does not prove that a cancellation request was received before a relevant deadline.
6. Privacy, continuing rights and unresolved questions
Medical histories, test results, photographs of symptoms, insurance identifiers and prescriptions are not requested in this general form. Discuss a suitable confidential channel with the treating practice before sharing health records. Raise an unresolved issue with the actual responsible provider using the transaction records. Nothing in this general page removes a statutory cancellation right, remedy for defective performance, valid contractual entitlement or available consumer complaint process. The appropriate outcome depends on the facts, agreement and applicable law, including any mandatory protections.
